Executives & Committee 2025

The PNG Australia Association Victoria recently held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 8th of February 2025, where a new Executive and Committee were elected to lead the organization into the next term. Peter Bakua will be serving his 4th term as President. The newly appointed team is committed to continuing the association’s mission of fostering community engagement and strengthening ties between Papua New Guineans and Australians in Victoria.

With the AGM successfully concluded, the focus now shifts to the upcoming 50th Independence celebrations for Papua New Guinea in Melbourne this September. This milestone event promises to be a significant and memorable occasion, bringing together the PNG community and friends to honor five decades of independence.
